Yes, there was a fresh dusting of snow on Mt. Trafalgar and Mt. Nelson yesterday morning. It was a chilly morning on the ridge too but still beautiful as always. Warmer temperatures returning over the next few days.

Always changing!! The Smith Falls run year-round. Even during the winter freeze it continues to trickle and the icefall grows larger through the winter. After the thundering melt run-off through June and July the #falls have now reduced to a beautiful #bridalveil appearance still fed by melting #snow in #ParadiseBasin.

As a precaution dUring the current hot dry conditions, each of our guide machines is equipped with a pump backpack, fire axe and shovel. The shovel comes in handy if someone gets stuck in a snowbank too ????
