We like having fun at work and sharing our backyard with our guests – and it shows! When you become our guest, you become part of our family and part of the fun – be it for an hour, a day or a multi-day tour.
Toby Creek Adventures (TCA) began its operations in the winter of 1996, running snowmobile trips on the snow-covered Greywolf golf course at Panorama Mountain Resort. Within a few years, we moved our base location across the Toby Creek River and to the site of the historic Paradise Mine, where we began running snowmobile and ATV tours up to the old mine shaft and surrounding Paradise Basin. Over the years, we have purchased most of the land extending from our base operations to the alpine just above our Paradise cabin. We feel fortunate as our property features sought-after natural assets, including an impressive waterfall, a stunning larch forest and an alpine cabin with a silver mining history. We can also provide an exclusive experience for our guests, including freshly groomed trails in the winter and no crowds in the summer. We love and enjoy sharing our backyard with our winter and summer guests.
Our professional guides and staff are local residents who have worked, lived and played in the area for many years. We have ten full-time employees, and many of our seasonal guides and staff own and operate summer construction, landscaping or tourism businesses and return to run our winter snowmobile and summer ATV operations each season. We value attracting and retaining key tourism talent in our region.
TCA is a long-standing, award-winning Columbia Valley success story with strong partnerships with accommodations and tourism organizations within British Columbia and Alberta, including long-term partnerships in Banff and Canmore. Motorized tours are not permitted within our National Parks, and our property makes a perfect location for Banff and Canmore guests seeking a quintessential Canadian summer and winter experience.

TCA is an industry leader and a member of various professional industry organizations, including being a founding organization of the Canadian Association of Motorized Backcountry Guide Association (CMBGA) and the British Columbia Commercial Snowmobile Operators Association (BCCSOA). Additionally, TCA is an official BRP Ski-Doo and Can-Am Uncharted Society tour operator. We are honoured and feel fortunate to be chosen as a Canadian tour provider representing the notable BRP brand.
