Larches in Paradise
Experience golden larch season in our private alpine backyard
BOOK NOW

One of the most spectacular natural sights in the Canadian Rockies is the transformation of the alpine larches from summer green to brilliant gold.

Every fall, alpine larches turn a stunning golden hue before losing their needles for the winter.

Typically, the golden larches are most vibrant from mid to late September. It’s a spectacular sight that brings visitors to the Canadian Rockies every fall!

We love Larch Season!

We are fortunate to have an extensive larch forest on our private property, and we love sharing it with our guests. Travelling through the vibrant golden larch forest by ATV or Side-by-Side (SXS) is an incredible way to experience larch season.

Larches in Paradise Tour | Start with a breathtaking scenic ride from the valley into the alpine. Travel through our private golden larch forest on our ATV and SXS trail network, with a stop at Marmot Falls along the way. We also visit the historic Paradise Mine,  where the original blacksmith shop is now our renovated alpine cabin. See the old mine entrance, then enjoy a locally sourced bakery treat and a hot drink while taking in the golden larch views from the deck

Best of all, you can experience the larches without the hike or the crowds. Our tours make this spectacular fall experience accessible to many, from children over the age of 5 to those who may not be able to hike into the alpine.

If the mountain weather turns, we have rain gear available, plus plenty of hot chocolate and a cozy fireplace at the Paradise Cabin.

Come see why we love larch season!
