Fun Mid-Mountain Adventure | Our Waterfall Explorer tour is a great ATV/SXS adventure. Your guide will lead you up the mountain and take you off the beaten path to enjoy our scenic Marmot Falls. Experience breathtaking mountain views along the way.

Our Waterfall Explorer Tour is suitable for inexperienced riders, multi-generational groups, and families; prior ATV/Side-by-Side experience is not required. We provide your ATV/SXS, driver training, an ATV/SXS helmet, and rain gear (if needed).

Duration: 2 hours

  • Includes breaks at Marmot Falls and other scenic view stops.

Marmot Falls is constantly changing: In winter, Marmot Falls is entirely frozen. It casts off the ice pillar by June and rushes over the rock face and through the snowbanks still present on the forest floor. On hot days in July, it thunders – fed by melting snow. Come August and September, it becomes a beautiful, sparkling bridal-veil waterfall. It’s never the same from one day to the next.

Once at Marmot Falls, you can hike up so close that you can feel the mist on your face and hear the water hitting the rocks at the base of the falls. You can even try gold panning in one of the pools beside the viewpoint.

Please note: This tour does not reach the Alpine Cabin or Paradise Basin. If you want to visit Paradise Cabin and Marmot Falls, please join our Paradise Basin or Paradise Mine tours.
