There are not many moments in history upon which the very freedoms we enjoy and take for granted totally depended. But 75 years ago today everything about life that we enjoy hung in the balance. Our lives would have been very different if they had failed. Today we remember with gratitude the selfless courage and sacrifice of the men and women who served on June 6th, 1944.
