In April we launched our summer 2019 ATV season with an amazing day of adventure for a group of VIP guests with Heineken Brazil.
The Heineken Brazil group was staying at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and was part of a corporate incentive and rewards program. The program was organised by ECG Events, an international destination management company based in New Jersey, USA. Our operations team worked with Marianne and Luiz Matta from ECG to coordinate a very special experience for the group. Luiz told us that the number one important thing was the WOW factor for this group.
The day started with a helicopter transfer from Canmore, Alberta in two Bell 212 helicopters provided by Alpine Helicopters. The helicopter transfer provided an amazing scenic experience over the Canadian Rockies, past Mt. Assiniboine and the Columbia Wetlands to our base in the Purcell Mountains at Panorama, BC.
There we got the group geared up and equipped and then transferred them to the spectacular House of the Freisians for morning refreshments. The the group set out for a Purcell Benches ATV Tour through forest trails (still with snow in places) to a high viewpoint overlooking the Columbia Valley, the Purcell Mountains and the Canadian Rockies. On our return the group enjoyed the warm hospitality of Caio & Gerard Paagman (owners of House of the Friesians) and a delicious BBQ lunch courtesy of local caterer and chef Chris Boulton.
Around mid-afternoon, well-fed, very happy and full of fresh memories, the group departed in our luxury bus with two more hours of sight-seeing through Kootenay and Banff National Parks but arriving back at the Fairmont Banff Springs in plenty of time for scheduled evening events.
