I just returned from my trip to Canada and I can’t say enough about the snowmobile trip with Toby Creek Adventures. We had an excellent tour guide (Johnny sp?) and he really took the trip to the next level. It is hard to go wrong with the scenery and mountains of BC and I would absolutely go back and take another trip with this group. For those who want to travel light like us, they do provide winter gear that is great for the trip. I am 6’6″ and was able to get a snowsuit and boot combination that kept me dry and warm for the whole trip. Highly recommended tour!

We got picked up at our hotel in Banff and driving to there launch site the ride was about 1 and 1/2 hours but well worth it. The instruction was great and the guide was a knowledgeable gentleman named Chris he was pleasant and patient with us newbies.
The trail was beautiful and it wondered up the mountain every so often Chris would stop to let us take pictures and explain what we where looking at. The free play time was even more awesome and the meal in the cabin was relaxing and peaceful.

After being picked up by Chris, our driver, tour guide and chef,we were driven through outstanding winter scenery to panorama outside of radium hotsprings. The trail up the mountain was incredible! White deep powder and snow covered trees couldn’t have been more beautiful! We wound up in a bowl where we were set free to race and play! What a blast! Then Chris barbecued burgers and bratwursts, followed by huge cookies and hot chocolate! The trail down was even more exciting, speeding and flying between the trees screaming art the top of our lungs, outstanding! Don’t miss this adventure!

We got to our launch point and suited up for up the mountain, stopping many times for nature, taking advantage of a great look out or viewing the power of the past winter’s avalanche. We arrived at the top of the mountain, where our guide shared the names of the mountain ranges and specific mountains of interest. On the way back, we stopped at Paradise Mine for lunch and a lesson in history. On the way back, we saw a black bear adjacent to the trail. The day was very enjoyable and hope to be back soon.

What a fantastic adventure! We could not believe that we were going to end up at the top of the mountain…a great view of the panorama ski hill and surrounding area. Everything was top notch from equipment, guides knowledge, down to the outhouses. Excellent attention was given to detail!
